March 16 - The first panels are joined
|
After all the holes were drilled, the first two panels are joined together loosely with wire stitches. A clamp is used on the bow and stern to hold the pieces together until more holes and wires can be added.
Note that I used a variety of objects to lift the panels from the table so that I could thread wires through the holes.
