July 22 - Fitting the coaming riser
|
To make sanding easier after installing the coaming, I sanded the deck area around the coaming before gluing the coaming riser in place. I then used clamps to hold the riser in place while I marked it out for cutting.
I also pre-sanded the outside of the coaming riser to make sanding easier later -- getting into the area underneath the coaming lip is a bit tricky -- presanding will eliminate most of the need to sand in a tight spot.
