July 26 - The hatches are cut
|
As I made my way around the hatches with the sabre saw, I applied tape to hold the hatch lids in place as I neared the end of the cut to stop the hatch from dropping.
Because I previously applied a layer of fiberglass in the hatch area I won't have to glass the underside of the hatch lids.
Once the hatches were both cut, I applied epoxy to seal the exposed edges on the lid and the deck.
