Dec 14 - Gluing bow deck reinforcements

Small pieces of 3 1/2" wide plywood (supplied in the kit, but you have to cut them to the correct size) are cut and glued in place on the underside of the deck panels, immediately forward of the cockpit. This is to strengthen the deck panels in this area. Once the epoxy has cured, the reinforcement pieces will be trimmed perfectly to match the contour of the deck panels, before the panels are stitched together.
