What about Mr. Robert N. Pruden. He's been kayaking for almost 20 years now and survived a few follies. He's done 6 wooden kayak builds, wrecked only one of them and rebuilt it, restored one fibreglass canoe, and drowned only 5 cameras. I've always lived on the Canadian prairies and always will. I have solo/unsupported kayaked about 2200-kms from the Alberta Rockies to Rossville, MB; paddled 137-kms of the Winnipeg River with my buddy, Mr Ken Sutherland; and done some writing about my kayaking adventures. I do a little birding and bird photography as well. I try to get to the Island every odd year.
