    The repair was easy and the Swamp Salmon's entire hull got another coat of epoxy and a new 3-inch keel strip. About half has a big sheet of new gator-proof 8-oz armor to get it through the next five years. Thanks for the advice.

    I heard you can make 100% alcohol by adding water to Newfie rum. I once spilled some in a river and it dried up and left me stranded. So I spilled another dram and it made the river bottom so dry that it attracted a flash flood and I surfed all the way home.

    I have sliced out the delaminated glass from the hull, several feet square. This leaves a small margin (3-6 mm wide ) of delaminated glass surrounding the incision. If I sand and do a new fill coat on the wood, I think the epoxy will seep into the margins and relaminate the surrounding region...
