    Feasability study

Papacliff, I decided to take this from PM back to the forum only because I seached the 'net for information on kayaks/RV's and found very little information. To answer the first question, it is the angle of the photo. All of the kayak is at or below the level of the air conditioning unit. When...

    Feasability study

I have a tall 5th wheel toyhauler that I can haul two 17'6" kayaks inside, but it is a pain in the ass as they are constantly in the way. So up top they went. My minimum clearance was 13' to the top of the a/c. The kayaks do not stick up higher then that so I have lost no clearance. Closer...

Yep thats me. Had an "economy forced career change" two years ago and decided that it makes much more sense to use an alias rather that my actual name on BBS's. First thing a company does now a days is search your name and sees what pops up. Thats why I refuse to be on stuff like facebook, etc.

    Paddling the Astoria, Oregon waterfront

The Astoria area is a fantastic area to paddle. There are a lot of options from wild surf zones to very protected sloughs. See http://www.columbiawatertrail.org/ for more opportunities paddling on the Columbia River. Another close alternative is the Willapa Bay with Long Island. There are four...
