    Description: Come support the protection of Thwaytes Landing! This unique event brings Lower Mainland residents together for a fun day of paddling, fundraising and festival activities. Multiple music acts will perform, food vendors will offer burgers and hotdogs for sale, a kid's activity centre will offer face painting and birdhouse building, and a number of educational displays will be on-site. Those wanting to participate but prefer not to paddle can take a boat tour up to Thwaytes Landing for $25/person.

    Date: Sep 18, 2005

    Cost: Basic entrance fees vary from $25.00 to $50.00 depending on boat rental needs

    Time: Paddling starts at 9:30am. Festival starts at 1pm.
