just got my gopro hd and tried it out. seems to have problems with fog in the housing and droplets on the exterior lens. any suggestions to combat this.

gopro sells anti fog inserts. dont know if they work or where to get locally (north vancouver).
would rainx (for car windsheilds) work for the droplets?

Rain-X should solve the droplet problem. The GoPro manual says that the camera heating up could cause fog, so it recommends having the camera on only when you are shooting.

A concern I have with the use of rain-x is it has alcohol in it. Make sure it doesn't permanently fog the plastic case on a portion of the case away from the lense.
