    Dan, your photo 141 is brilliant! I had a heck of a time getting the fiberglass to lay flat in the bow and stern ends. I wanted to throw my kayak out the door and burn it I was so frustrated!!!

    My next build (beginning shortly) will be ever so less stressful thanks to your tip. Now I know how to do it! I bow humbly at your feet, sir!

    Thanks Madam. That technique is a valuable one for anyone building a kayak (or canoe) -- it's often beneficial to pay attention to the methods used by the pros.

    I was fortunate to have worked at Western Canoeing and Kayaking and was able to pick up a lot of production tips from the guys who build Clipper canoes -- those guys are truly master craftsmen.
