Biadarka or NoahsArka?

    emmm. This is in the prestigeous Woodenboat magazine by one of our main wooden kayak designers. . . :

    it's the head photo of part 2 of an continued article by Rob Macks on how to build his Shooting Star biadarka.

    I can't believe he added a skeg. Baidarkas (baidarki?) don't need skegs.

    or maybe a rudder as well?
    . . . maybe I'm just being a jerk - really, what diff does it make: it's beautifully done.

    Believe it or not the Aleutians did sometimes use a rudder, but never a skeg. And yes, he did a beautiful job.
