Created by a UVic professor and students, from field schools at the Hakai Institute on Calvert Island. This was mentioned in various news articles today (without the url) and looks to be a great resource when trying to identify things. Also has iOS/android apps available for offline use.

The apps do require you to be online but they store any items you view so you can review them offline. As long as you have enough storage space, eventually you'd have everything available offline.
