Canadian supplier of sof materials

    Is there a Cdn. supplier of polyester cloth, artificial sinew, etc?

    artificial sinew is available at Tandy Leather.
    i've always dealt with George Dyson, in Washington, for cloth. the only time i used a local supplier i paid over four times what Dyson charged.

    I wonder if Rod Tait at Orcaboats might have or be considering some supplies.

    Thanks. It looks like I'll have to take the duty hit and ship from the states.

    If you can claim it is for a kit-built boat you might get it duty-free. Pygmy kits enter Canada duty-free. I've brought one of their kits in on the roof of the car and a second one was shipped: both GST (I live in Alberta) only.

    I often have some of the supplies for SOF's but not at this time. The last piece of skin that I have is stained by water damage in a leak, but if one were to paint it, they could have it cheap.
