Has anyone read the article in the Province on monday or tuesday about the dad,15 yr old son and 23 yr old daughter that, on sunday, went on a trip down fraser from Yale down to Hope, somewhere not far from hope they tried to get over closer to the shore, somehow got somewhat sucked into a whirpool, tipped, dad made it to shore in the canoe( he got back in it? or never fell out?) and fishermen fished the other 2 out of the water 1.5 km's downstream. aparently it was a flat-bottomed lake canoe of some sort.
    Your thoughts?

I read that article. Lucky family. From the sound of the article, they shoudn't have been there. That's a nasty stretch of water -- especially at this time of year.
