A beautiful, straightline, efficient, wave piercing boat - ultimately poorly used:
its mission was never to tow long lines and maneuver ( those amas would probably only support wide turns).

Although the japanese ship was in a continuous turn into the Ady (and should be charged), the Ady was playing a confrontational cat and mouse game that it completely failed at - in initially stalling in the water and then possibly panicking at the last few seconds and being completely unable to turn away. Play with fire with a gasoline can (ie. a lousy boat for the function) and you sometimes get burned.

remind me not to play chicken in my yak with the local cigarette boat.

While I completely support Sea Shepherd's cause, and even their methods,to a degree, they used the absolutely wrong boat to do it with this time. Earth Race was well known for pretty poor maneuvering characteristics. They took a pretty hostile action, that warranted retaliation. Justified action as it may have been in my opinion, you don't go into a gunfight with a super soaker and expect it to end well.

Funny - that site you linked to is basically an anti-activist site. It has nothing good to say about ANY activist group or celebrity activists. Activistcash.com obviously has it's own agenda which appears to be right wing, anti-environmentalist. They even attack the Sierra Club and Mothers Against Drunk Driving!

I don't always agree with Watson's tactics, but he certainly is effective at getting his point across.

Yet you seem to think that your opinions are FACT ... why is that?

    Oops...I stand corrected...
In my opinion...Paul Watson is a criminal.

    Thank you nootka.

Again, another site with it's own agenda and no objectivity whatsoever.

These two sites you've linked to have about as much objectivity and credibility as Fox News.

In my opinion, Ken B has the credibility of a barnacle in a hot tub, judging from his "sources".

KenB, you indeed are a worthy supporter of the one-sided verbal diarrhea that you quote.
