Sadly, I've been so busy that I haven't even had time to paddle my own boat let alone testing anyone elses. I've really been pushing myself to get the shop finished so I can start having a life again. However, I'd like to get out for a day paddle maybe this weekend depending on the weather.

That depends on your definition of morning.

I've split this from a thread in the Boat Building forum (and I screwed up, but that's another story).

I'm coming over Thursday evening after work to arrange some trip details with Brad (Divorceboat) for our upcoming Clayoquot trip (Oct 2-11ish). We'd like to get a pool session in some time (either Fri or Sat evening - still waiting for info from some pools) but would like to get together with anyone who's available for an evening paddle the other night (probably Saturday evening, false creek or something). Does that work for anyone?

Night paddles don't require waking up before noon, right?

    I'm in.

Too bad. I think we're thinking Saturday evening, English Bay area? Does that work for everyone? Mick?

How about Port Moody? Mick and I paddled there one night a week or so ago and had a blast . It''s pretty cool paddling there at night -- lot's of places to poke around in, things to paddle under, ships to paddle alongside, oil refineries to check out -- it's quite different.

I might be into a Sunday morning paddle if it's not too early.

Where do you put in, Barnet Marine Park? Can you park there at night? Would you want to park there at night? 8O

I'm up for Sat evening as long as directions to the put in are available.
I can get lost, some days, looking for the front door.
