Beautiful BC
Looking for a place to paddle that's a bit out of the ordinary? Jones Lake is nestled between some very rugged mountains and offers some spectacular scenery.

Please visit the "BC Lower Mainland" section of the Paddling Locations Gallery to view the new album or click here to open the album in a new window.

It's pretty small, for sure. I suspect that even at the highest water level, a circumnavigation of the lake could be done in an hour and a half. But that's not what makes this place so cool -- it's the scenery -- it truly is a beautiful spot. Well worth heading to for a day -- pack a lunch.

Another positive aspect is that the stumps make great obstacles for practicing leaned and edged turns.

And besides, ducks seem to enjoy themselves just fine, even in the smallest of ponds. :D
