KellyT and I took advantage of a beautiful morning to paddle out of Barnett Marine Park and partway up Indian Arm.

this was Kelly's first paddle in his newly aquired Sirrocco, and his first time in Burrard inlet, so he was "rubber-necking" a bit. :D

    salvaged flotsam:
1 tennis ball. (kept for Micks pup)
1 blue plastic beach shovel. (given to a small child back at the beach)

the authorities in their towers have seriously screwed up the loading area at Barnet. there is now room for only about four cars to unload, as they have narrowed the roadway by about half with big concrete baricades. we have few enough decent places to launch on the mainland without 'them' making it harder for us. i'm not much for writing letters but i think it's time to give it a try.
