I recently picked up a w20 (on Dave Barrie's suggested ebay site).
I felt I needed an additional bit of protection for the camera and have two suggestions:
You can get a pentax "silicone skin" which will protect the camera from bumps and stuff yet still allow operation. An image can be found at:
http://www.amazon.com/Pentax-Silicone-D ... B000JQ4ZTW - Lens and Shutter in Victoria has a few in stock for about $15.

You can get a neoprene case - I like the one sold by an Australian guy via Ebay, again for about $15

I also always attach a key chain float to the camera's strap since the camera does not float.

Great ideas Mike - I'm going to check out the silicone case. At first I was upset by the way that pics looked on the LCD, until I downloaded them to my PC - it takes awesome pics :p

I have a few pics taken with it posted to my blog (see my sig) - it takes great pics and has lots of options. Like all waterproof cameras, it is prone to getting drops on the lens
