So, I am going to Port Renfrew to play this weekend. Thought it would make sense to have a chart to help choose lunch spots, etc. OF COURSE no one stocks the tiny little one of the inlet. (Although I have ordered it that does not help.) The chart I do have is a 1:110 000 which makes the inlet about 4cm big, not helpful either.

Does anyone have a snippet of the area? Advice on a places to stop? Looks like the swell and wind will be westerly... I want to play in the rocks and caves and don't imagine I will get far out of the inlet.

    THANKS AGAIN. :big_thumb

Thrasher Cove(the first/last camping beach on the west coast trail) makes a good spot to have lunch,or the big arch on the northwest corner of the inlet. The inlet isn't all that big...

    Buy a topographical map 1:50000

Probably it will show better detail of the beach than a chart.

In Victoria try Island Blueprint or Crown Publications.
