Yeah, happens to the best of us. My wife and I are 70 now and not even close to giving up our west coast paddling adventures. However, several times in the past nasty conditions would get us separated more than I was comfortable with, so I decided to look for a tandem. Long story short after afew years of searching for a used Seaward G3 tandem I found one. Great deal on a 2009 and almost new condition. This is a sweet boat design. No modifications needed except I installed a sail, which is a hoot to use. Last summer we took it around Cape Scott and it worked great. The only down side is when you land and launch its heavy and you could get hurt if not careful. We carried a C-tug cart which worked great moving a loaded boat to the camp area and back to the water. Not sure how many of y'all are seniors but a tandem might be a great boat for your multiday expeditions too.
