Is that water fall close enough for me to get fresh water? Or should I bring all the water I need?

Yes, the waterfall is close enough to get water, in fact, it's close enough to keep you up all night if noise bothers you. You don't need to bring water -- there's no shortage of it at the campsite -- but you should filter it.

Oh, don't forget to bring a folding chair if you have one -- there are no picnic tables at the campsite.

Tough to get those things in 10" round hatches. Can you bring a few extras for us?

Not likely. Strap them on your rear deck.

    Potluck

I'll bring dessert for the potluck!

And if anyone is planning on putting in around 14:00 on Friday, please let me know, it'd be great to hook up with you.

Which channel should I be on the VHF?

My trip began today! I am loading gear and boat now and camp at work and head hit the road tomorrow morning :D

I will bring something if I can pack a pot.

    See you on the beach.

I presume sunset is roughly 6:15 pm, but within the steep banks of Indian Arm, it may be quite dark even earlier than that?

It shouldn't be too bad as it was a full moon a couple of nights ago. What time are you expecting to arrive at Granite Falls?

Hey Dan, i sent you an pm. Now my ride to the ferry on this side canceled out

I'm outta steam, and outta options. So many problems trying to get on this trip. I'll catch up with you guys on the water another day instead.

Sorry folks, I tried, I really did.

    Hey Dan:

Well, some issues ganged up whereby I will no longer be leaving Friday. Still hanging on to the hope I can go Sat, and if I can, I will arrive in daylight.

Well, I had been toying with the chance of a stealth attack using the power boat as a platform, but I got nailed with a mandatory meeting Saturday, so that is off. It would have been cool to surprise you all by anchoring off Granite Falls and lightering ashore in my folder, cloth towel over the arm, in search of the Grey Poupon!

You all have fun. I am jealous as hell, partly because it looks like the weather is going to open up.
