The great news is we've still been getting some good weather here in the interior, snow free and sunny.I've been out on a number of day trips , some days i'm the only one out there taking advantage of the weather, of course being out of work at the moment helps. Here's some pics.

The pic above shows an ore car on the shore of the New Denver area, a big silver area from 100 yrs ago.

And from yesterday, a little spit of land i came accross which will be a nice camp spot for next summer, someone already had found it.

Looks like a fantastic place to paddle and I too really want to go there, but the ensuing discussion about Powell Lake really needs to be on it's own so it doesn't take away from the current monthly paddling reports -- so I split it off to another discussion titled "Paddling at Powell Lake, Utah". Thanks.

We now return back to our regular Where Did You Paddle? postings...

Wow. I haven't been on the forum for a while. I forgot how much I enjoy checking out other paddler trip reports. mbiraman - love the sun soaked pics. I've started a little blog where I post trip reports, gear review, and vids. We just got back from a great trip to Tofino. Here's the link if you're interested.

On Saturday I paddled Puget Sound near Pt Defiance Park in Tacoma, WA. It was a benefit to help Surfer Dave with his medical expenses from his on-going battle with cancer.

This was mostly roll practice with demo kayaks from Kayak Academy (Maelstrom & Tiderace) and Sterlings Kayaks. There were also a few Valley kayaks, I don't remember who brought them, but the retailer of the Valley boats donated 5% of the sale of the kayaks he brought to the event to Dave.

Maddie, Mick, Rider, and myself had a fabulous paddle on the Fraser River on the 30th of October on a beautiful (mostly) sunny afternoon. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to board and explore the retired BC Ferry, Queen of Sidney.
