Since I am on the board, I will pass along that registration is now open for the Vancouver wooden boat festival and with permission from Mystic, we are adding the category of "I Built It Myself". So if you live in the Vancouver area and have or are building a small boat, then enter it for free in the festival. All info is on the web site. www.vancouverwoodenboat.com
 
Registration continues for the festival. We have a few boats registered for the 'I Built it Myself" section. So if you have a wooden canoe, row boat, kayak, etc. sign up.
 
Looks like the event is sold out again this year. Some new boats on the docks, new exhibitors, and the I Built it Myself feature has around 8 boats in it. For our first with this feature, the committee is pleased. Aug 23-26 on Granville Island, Vancouver, Canada
