    Did the owner add anything to increase 'grip' ? I've never paddled a SUP, but the deck must get slippery?

    Not yet. Yup. Pretty slippery when wet. I will let him decide whether to add some non-skid strips.

    Monster Paint clear spray on traction is easy to apply and can be reapplied if needed. It is a clear traction that is basically just epoxy and acrylic dust.
