From her trip report: "This was a big highlight day as we had a close encounter with a not-at-all shy sea otter just on the the inside of Island 40 North. All the other otters we saw on the trip would generally take a few second look at us and pop back under the water. This guy was much more content to continue with his kelp wrapping antics and show off how gracefully he could turn and tumble in the water. Truly an amazing experience!"
