This beautiful site is located on a tombolo in Sand Bay looking out on Stephens Passage. This was definitely one of the top five campsites on my Inside Passage trip. The views up and down Stephens Passage were spectacular and there were Humpback Whales surfacing all around me the whole afternoon. The beach is easy to land on at all tide levels and is composed of cobblestones. Tentsites have been cleared up in the trees by earlier users and would be useful during the highest tides of the month. It is a three day paddle south of Juneau Alaska.
