Anyone had a chance to look at the latest issue of British Columbia Magazine? Cover article is "10 Great Paddles". Amongst others, it includes Gabriola Is., False Creek, Desolation Sound and the Broken Group. The articles for each area are fairly light weight but some of their locations might make good subject for future galleries.

I spent about 12 summers in the Desolation Sound area. There aren't a lot of places where you can actually get ashore, but the scenery is spectacular. With some good preparation and planning it would make a great place for an extended trip.
