This site is located in a cove on the NW side of the largest of the Broken Islands. There are no good tent sites but just enough space for a bivy sack is availabe above high tide. Landing and launching is off a beach composed of cobblestones covered with seaweed and barnacles. There is no water available.

Camping in Johnstone Strait

This map shows (almost) every conceivable camping spot in Johnstone Strait.

We like launching from Naka Creek the best. Great camping and free parking, but the road in is gravel. 4WD recommended.

If you really want to see whales rubbing on the shore (up close and personal) go to Malcolm Island - Bere Point. It's not all 'off limits' like Robson Bight is.
