Ah, warmer times ... snowing here in Seattle currently, so catching up on video editing backlog 
Here is one of our favorite lake kayaking spots. We paddled it for a couple of hours one evening. Calm winds, light paddle. Could also make a half day trip by extending around the south end of the lake. Great for all levels of kayakers including beginners. Rentals available in season from main beach, see resource links below. Orcas Island is such a great location for world class paddling. Also, one of the best Washington State Park campsites in Moran State Park, highly recommended. Full video on YouTube, highlights at timestamps below.
