deck line beads

Hi All,

I remember seeing on a site or a post somewhere regarding deckline beads. They are beads that have your bungees threaded through to make it easier to place something under it. In my case, I want to put one on the paddle park bungee at the bow of my deck. Does anyone have any info on this or use them?

I got those at a marine supply store that sells sailing gears.

For a somewhat less elegant solution, you can use whiffle balls (plastic practise golf balls with holes all through them).

i went to a craft store and bought some predrilled wooden beads.....
they work...

I actually did that last night. I grabbed a value pack of 1 1/4" beads and drilled some holes (they didn't have beads big enough that were predrilled).

Do you find that one bead on a line is enough, or would I need two for the paddle park at the bow?

I use two - seems to make it easier to get the paddle under.
