Not sure if it's the same boat, but here's Doug with a freshly-caught rockfish in 1999. I can't remember exactly where I took this photo, but it was on a trip from Nootka Sound up to South Brooks and back to Kyuquot. Fun times...
 
Yeap I bought that kayak from Doug A. directly, then sold it to a nice fellow. Not sure how many owners since. It’s an easy boat to fix or paint. Could be a pimped ride pretty easily.
