I recently came across a document online about the history of Granite Falls -- going back over a hundred years. It was written by the Village of Belcarra mayor Ralph Drew and should be a fascinating read by anyone who has paddled to Granite Falls. Many interesting photos and facts. There was even a resort there at one time (I had no idea).

We did know of the resort, very cool to see some pics of the area back then. Hard to imagine a restaurant there as late as 1969! We have camped there many times, a great place! Then only negative is the plethora of power boats now...but still a great destination.
Thanks for digging that up Dan.
