This beautiful site on Gribbell Island is composed of small rounded pebbles and was one of my favorite campsites on my trip. The views out across Wright Sound were spectacular with snow coverd peaks visable in the distance. Boat traffic making the connection between Princess Royal and Grenville Channels offered interesting photo op's. The site is one day's paddle north of Butedale and about ten miles south of Hartley Bay. The beach has a small level spot above high tide. Launching and landing is easy at any tide level.
