What a great testimony to, "There's no 'bad' weather, just bad clothing choices." Meaning, amazing but true, you can enjoy the rain. Towards the end, when I heard your paddling partner mention the coffee, I didn't hear any hint of, "Gee, this sucks." in her voice. Just another adventure - sometimes with sunny skies, sometimes ... not so much. But you have someone to share it with; lots of "Remember when ..." memories for future years.
