Stranded canoeist rescued after 4 days

A man who appeared to be stranded for four days on the rocky shores of Howe Sound has been rescued thanks to a friendly kayaker.

but it's actually a little odd, 4 days, . . . even tho' that rockweed is extremely extremely slippery, you gotta wonder a little bit with the canoe juuuuust there a few feet away the whole time:

I thought he didn’t tie up the canoe and a High Tide (or big swell) carried it away before it was completely unloaded - which why he had his sleeping bag. So yeah, if the canoe was right over there … unless the guy couldn’t swim and had no PFD?
