So drawn to a logical conclusion, it is going to be a crime to die. Anyone dying will be given a sentence with no remission i.e. buried.

As mentioned, some idiot without any protection, drunk or drugs, simply causing a disservice to everyone through total stupidity, why are we expected to do anything for them?

Darwin, where are you when we need you?

Well, I must admit that I have been completely, totally, unbelievably astonished at the cavalier response to the 10s of thousands of deaths here and 100s of thousands of deaths in the US just for the inconvenience of a border, travel restriction, work restriction or mask compared to the seeming frantic concern about a few 10s or US 100s of deaths with any particular outdoor sport or even of necessary freedoms such as speed limits for driving or other much much much less death causing endeavours.

where's the balance of concern? We obviously and clearly don't care about huge death counts . . . but just where they take place? And we are seemingly objective societies?

Anyway, veering way off topic into public psychology.
