I'd always thought of a cowboy scramble as a re-entry technique for use if your roll failed. Turns out it can also be part of a routine launch...
Or connect it to your tow rope before tossing it and jumping after it.Oh, and remember: always jump upwind of your kayak!
Only if you can paddle swim quickly....or you will never catch up to your boat..Oh, and remember: always jump upwind of your kayak!
I was picturing a grappling hook on the end of his throwline, he swarms up 60s Batman-style, then rigs a swiftwater rescue Z-drag system vertically to get his boat back up...I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel where he jumps back onto the dock.
Yeah, but how many views would a youtube video of that sensible approach get?If this is a ladder-built-in in the dock side, hang on to a line and maybe just climb down and get in?
