This boat has been very little used, as you can tell from the condition. The manufacturer's website says this about the fiberglass Nomad:

The long slender waterline of the Nomad makes an extremely efficient hull and gives you a super fast open water boat. Very versatile, it slices through waves with ease, maneuvers beautifully, and allows the paddler to handle adverse conditions with confidence. Our vacuum-bagged fiberglass laminate is a notch above most other fiberglass products on the market. Vacuum-bagging allows us to select and place reinforcing materials to provide the optimal strength and stiffness properties without adding unnecessary weight. The result is a superbly crafted composite kayak that's impeccably finished inside and out."
I added a keel strip for protection, and also a small fixed skeg. The skeg greatly improves the boat's tracking when paddling unloaded, without having to resort to using the rudder.
