Good trip report for reading on a winter's day. I was out for 9 days in Desolation Sound in June with same idea of wilderness self isolation. Noticed all the same things as in the write up. It was almost eerie how few boats and people there were. Even places like Prideau Haven and the marine park campsites at the end of our trip were only sparsely occupied. I even had the thought that the place was probably much like it had been before first contact a few times. A small silver lining in the time of Covid, at least for wilderness travellers.
