Hey folks, has anyone had experience using Seam Grip WP for replacing a wrist gasket? I’ve done gaskets before, but I’ve always used Aquaseal. I’ve got an unopened tube of Seam Grip WP, so I was wondering if I could use that. Any advice would be appreciated!

Cheers,
Andrew

Same manufacturer....would be interesting to see if they are essentially the same product. I've always used Aquaseal when replacing gaskets and for other sealant applications...good stuff, but I could believe a manufacturer would utilize a good product by labelling it with multiple names and multiple uses. Not really dishonest...just a good way to sell more product. How about giving a try and let us know how it works?

As far as I know, Aquaseal and Seamgrip are the same except the Seamgrip is diluted with more solvent so it's thinner. (and ShoeGoo is an even thicker version)
