We're planning a 5 day trip and will start with full bags. Any tips on a good spot to refill with fresh water? We'll have a pump along, but figured a marina for filling/purchase was our best bet??

Pender Island: Poets Cove (right by Beaumont) has water - plus for $5 you can enjoy a swim and hot-tub - Also, it is a quick walk up the hill to the grocery store from Browning Bay. (GREAT bookstore with new and used too!)

Don't know where you are going so I hope this helps. :big_thumb

We discovered that Ruckle Park on Saltspring Island has great water. There is a sheltered cove called Grandma's Beach that is below the old homestead and it is out of the way of the ferry wakes. A short walk up the stairs and a 5 minute walk along the path to the camping area of the park brings you to the water tap full of clean cold, filtered and ozonated water. While you are there, check out the homestead and imagine the idyllic lifestyle of earlier settlers.
